The enterprise was established in 1966 in Mandalay Burma,by the name sake of the
company, the Late Sardar Man Singh Khanduja as A K Motor Stores. Having moved
to Bombay India, ahead of the communist

regime takeover in Burma, then company ‘Mansons Auto International’ was started as a trading and distribution
house for commercial vehicle components for trucks of that time.

In 1967, the eldest of Sardar Man Singh’s sons, Mr. H.S. Khanduja, present Chief
Managing Director, upon returning with an MBA from the University of Berkeley, establishes
export sales to the middle east.

In 1975, Mansons now a recognized Export House expand operations to European and
American truck component distributors.

1985, over 45% of sales now generated from contracts with the quality conscious
American, European and Australian after market industry.

1992, restructuring of ownership, the company moves towards a professional management.
